Baked Breakfast Oats -n- Nuts
“This is an exercise of trust…..just make this!”
Ingredients:
1 ½ cup quick cooking oats
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup sugar
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Spread mixture evenly on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. At the 15 minute mark, use spatula and toss mixture evenly. Bake until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving, this will make it more crispy. Serve with warm milk/cream with a dash of honey.
